At the border of the nature reserve Lüneburger Heide you can experience very special and rare animals such as Siberian tigers, wolverines, prairie dogs, snow leopards, artic foxes, musk oxes, Kodiak bears, mountain goats, elks, lynxes, raccoons, wapitis, reindeers, artic wolfs, eastern wolfs and European grey wolfs in harmony with nature.
More than 1.200 animals from 140 species live here on over 148 acres of natural heathland. This unique range of species covers almost all wild animals native to Germany. Animal species from the northern parts of Asia and America also live in Wildpark. In addition the park accommodates a high number of old and rare breeds of domestic animals as for example Poitou-donkeys or girgentanas. .
Young and old alike can explore the Wildpark as a shared family adventure. Everyone can enjoy stroking and feeding animals in the petting-zoo where the goats and fallow deers are based. Peaceful trails and gardens with gorgeous figures made of flowers invite you to stay and rest a while.
